On the credit side, we invest mainly in investment-grade & high yield corporate debt issued by companies domiciled in emerging market countries. Our team has more than eighty years of experience investing in emerging equity and credit markets.

Emma Capital Partners will launch & manage the Emma Capital Partners Global Multi-Strategy Fund. The principals have significant global emerging markets experience as PMs, analysts, and traders at JP Morgan Asset Management, UBS, The Rohatyn Group, Standard Chartered, Société Générale, ING, Calyon, Deutsche Asset Management, & Matterhorn Investment Management. The team consists of veteran investors who have worked within a long/short equity & credit environment.

Emma’s principals have also developed a track record of building partnerships with key market participants. The team has a long history of trading equities & credit within a tight risk framework with strict drawdown limits. Our network of contacts allows us to better trade securities, get local access to restricted markets, and gain short selling opportunities which are key for hedging the portfolio and generating alpha.
